Rules that shape deployment
- The UAE Ministry of Education is introducing AI as a subject from kindergarten to Grade 12 in public schools from 2025-26, and KHDA runs an AI literacy programme for Dubai private schools. UNESCO Courier
- The UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021) limits cross-border transfers of personal data and requires impact assessments for high-risk processing, which favours private and in-country AI deployments. UAE Government portal
